
Enerel University was established under the name Enerel College by the initiative of Honored Teacher of Mongolia, Doctor, Professor, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the 100-shot checkers Asian champion D. Dorji, by Order No. 97 of the Minister of Education dated May 3, 1999. By Order No. A/218 of the Minister of Education and Science dated June 10, 2015, it met the conditions of the Higher Education Classification Procedure and became the first private nursing university with a special license to conduct educational activities in Bachelor’s Education-6, Associate’s Education-6, and Professional Education-4 programs. It has been conducting educational activities continuously for 27 years. It has classroom buildings A and B with a usable area of 2063.1 m2 with a comfortable environment that meets educational standards and hygiene requirements. The Medical Skills Center and sports hall were newly built and put into operation in 2019. It provides services such as a library with more than 6,000 textbooks, high-speed internet access, computer laboratories, 7 laboratories fully equipped with standard teaching aids (simulators, apparatus, tools, equipment) for nursing education, a pharmacy, a student leisure area, a cafeteria, and a clinical skills center for student practice.
Since its establishment, the National Institute of Nursing has trained 3,000 specialists through the “Nursing” program, providing associate and bachelor’s degree training. Of these, 2,035 graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and 965 graduated with an associate’s degree in nursing, and are working productively in the health sector of the Republic of Mongolia.
